Internet Download Manager Editor's Review
Internet Download Manager is an application designed for increasing download speeds by up to 5 times, and for resuming, scheduling, and organizing downloads.
Downloads can be grouped into categories as it includes an adaptive download accelerator for MP3 audio files, and MPEG video content processing; the scheduler allows starting a download at a certain hour and can be executed recursively on every weekday. Extra options include: hang up the modem when done, exit Internet Download Manager when done, or shut down computer when done.
The program will resume unfinished downloads due to network problems, or unexpected power outages. It integrates into any application that uses FTP, or HTTP protocols, this means that once you start a download using any web browser, Internet Download Manager will over take the download process and speed it up. Onyx 3 4 1 – maintenance and optimization tool tutorial.
Pluses: The program features a full-fledged site grabber that downloads files that are specified with filters, for example, all pictures from a Web site, different parts of web sites, or complete web sites for offline browsing.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Stable, fast and easy to use, is a good performer overall, with reasonable acceleration and a solid selection of features.

I suddenly can't install any rubies. I suspect this may have stemmed from
me having my Mac die on me, switching to a new one, and copying all my
files over from the hard drive of the whole one during the mac setup
process (but that could be a red herring I suppose).
I completely removed rvm and xcode, reinstalled xcode, reinstalled rvm.
But I still get the error below (also available in this gist, and also
there with --trace: https://gist.github.com/denishaskin/6174997 )
There are some open issues that seem somewhat similar but they're very
confusing, and having tried the various things there, nothing has helped.
Recommendations? I'm dead in the water, thanks..
